I built my career from what I thought success was supposed to look like: hard work, consistency, grind, tenacity. Real qualities, all of them required, but no amount of awards ever made it feel complete. In 2023 I was on top of the world: a title promotion, my best revenue year yet, San Diego's Top 40 Under 40, CRE's Next Generation Award. The money finally felt consistent. Then it all came crashing down.
In commercial real estate you learn fast: a structure is only as strong as its foundation. I had built my life as a beautiful palace with no foundation at all, a vessel made of performance and proving instead of trust, one earthquake away from collapse. That earthquake came. And in the rubble, the Soul Contract framework found me. I finally understood: everything begins with the foundation, the sacred structure that holds it.
